Munich Malt
Overview
Our Munich Malt is kilned longer and at higher temperatures than Ale Malt. It involves “stewing” the green malt in the early stages of kilning to aid colour development. It is slightly darker than Vienna malt which is produced in a similar way. It is possible to use as a base malt, offering biscuity almost nutty flavours. Great for adding malt depth without having overpowering sweetness.
